Several artists have started to integrate specific frequencies into their productions or to build entire events around this music. Do you still remember the first time you got in touch with this? What was the experience like and what do you think do these frequencies provide?

It actually wasn’t long ago when I got in touch with the concept of music in specific frequencies.

In 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, I started to meditate with music. I realized I could go even deeper within my soul (or outer world) with meditation music. It fascinated me and I started to implement it in my morning routines not only while meditating but also while doing Yoga and journaling. That’s why I decided to read and study a little bit more about Solfeggio frequencies, including 432hz.

As we all know, everything is energy, and thus, frequency. There are certain studies and there is ancestral knowledge about mathematical and geometrical patterns in nature and our existence in this universe. Since music is made of sound waves - which is actually energy moving in a specific frequency - music also enters into this world of mathematical patterns. These patterns are translated into specific frequencies that are known to help us to relax the body, to remove negative energy, enhance the feeling of love and gratitude or even to connect with mother nature.

I believe so much in the power of music because I’ve seen and lived the impact on my own. That’s why I decided to make a shift and start producing and writing songs with higher vibrations.

Generally speaking, what role does music play in our wellbeing?

Everything we consume impacts us on a physical, emotional, and mental level. What we eat, what we see, what we experience, what we hear will have either a positive or negative effect on our being. That's why it's so important to be conscious of the music we listen to, the sounds, the lyrics, the artists, and what they represent.

Everything is vibration, and everything influences us. Being conscious empowers us to control what we consume, and that way, when we know the meaning behind each song, we can discern better, choose the right music for specific moments.

For example, I really like Nine Inch Nails; I've been a fan since I was 13. But nowadays, I know that, for instance, I won't start my day by listening to "March of the Pigs" because the beginning of the day sets the mood for the rest of the day, and I really wouldn't want to have an industrial day! Hahaha.

I generally listen to NIN at the gym when I have a lot of Yang energy. When you choose your music wisely, it becomes a form of medicine.

What role does silence play in our wellbeing?

Silence is also part of the music. Silence is needed to later enjoy beautiful musical sounds. Silence invites us to go within and seek for the answers we are looking for in ourselves. Silence enhances breaking free from limiting beliefs.

And, above all, silence is needed when words and noise do more harm than good.

What, from your point of view, are the potentials and the limits of music as medicine?

Music reaches places that conventional medicine often cannot. Music speaks directly to the soul and the heart, and from there, it can also impact other areas of the body.

Like everything else, music can be a double-edged sword because there are many types of music; there is positive music, there is dense music, and it also depends on where and in what state we are listening to the music. Obviously, beyond the fact that music can heal, there are some areas of conventional medicine it cannot replace, such as surgery and nutrition, for example. Because, no matter how we place a package of Oreos in a Tibetan singing bowl with a very high vibration, the negative impact of the Oreos might get lower but it will still be pure fat and sugar.

Nevertheless, I firmly believe in the power of music to raise our frequency. By having a high frequency and vibrating in love and gratitude, we are less prone to illness, accidents, and we attract more luck and all the positivity that anyone desires manifesting in their life.

Do you feel as though writing or performing a piece of music is inherently different from something like making a great cup of coffee? What do you express through music that you couldn't or wouldn't in more 'mundane' tasks?

Yes, it’s very different.

When you’re making music / art, it’s a form of channeling from above. The ideas come from other dimensions and they pick us up in order to be manifested on earth. When we’re preparing coffee or doing the dishes, we are more connected to the material world, it’s less ethereal or creative, unless you’re creating a new coffee recipe that might be revolutionary or when you’re cooking as well.

Still, art in general is very ethereal, it’s related to multidimensional realms, dreams, the universe, the things that can’t be seen but rather felt by the heart and the soul.
